A 26-year-old Orange man was charged with burglary early yesterday after he dropped into McCory's at 3 a.m., police said.

Kenneth Brown of New Street broke through the Main Street store roof skylight and set off the burglar alarm at 3:18 a.m., said Orange Police Director Charles Cobbertt.

Police and security arrived with the store's key and found Brown hiding under shelves in the rear of the store, Cobbertt said.
